Burnbeag is a detached cottage in Arden, which is right in Loch Lomond National Park. It’s part of a group of cottages around an old steading, but yours is at the back. It’s got its own private garden with a stream running through it.
It sleeps seven people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. It’s not huge, but it works fine for a group. There’s a fenced decking area with a hot tub.
There’s a pub about a quarter of a mile away, just down the road. The nearest shop is two miles away in Balmaha. The main thing here is the access to the park. You’re a very short drive, or a decent walk, from the east shore of Loch Lomond.
The cottage has parking and an electric car charger. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The property is listed as having wheelchair accessible entrance and ground floor facilities, which includes a bedroom and a walk-in shower. Some worktops are lower. If accessibility is important for your booking, it’s best to contact us to confirm the exact layout and specifics before you book, to make sure it suits your needs.
For things to do, you’re in the middle of it. You can walk straight out onto paths. The West Highland Way passes nearby. Balmaha is the main spot for boat hire and the ferry to the islands. For a big day out, Glasgow is less than an hour’s drive. Edinburgh is about an hour and a half.
