Ty Capel

Ty Capel is in Maenan, in the Conwy Valley. It's a detached cottage in our grounds, but you've got your own garden and it's completely private. The garden has a hot tub.

It's a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and to a high standard. It's all open plan downstairs. The bathroom has a shower.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. Facilities are what you'd expect: woodburner, TV, WiFi, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot.

Location-wise, you're between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed. Conwy, with the castle and the harbour, is about 15 minutes drive west. Betws-y-Coed, which is the main village for Snowdonia National Park, is about 10 minutes drive south. Llanrwst is even closer, just a couple of minutes, for basic shops and a butcher.

From here, you can get to a lot of the main spots in under half an hour. The Marin mountain bike trails are nearby. There are lakes for swimming or paddling, like Llyn Geirionydd. Tree Top Adventures is close if you want that. The coast path and the dog-friendly beach at Morfa Conwy are about 20 minutes away.

For planning, the National Trust Snowdonia and Visit Conwy sites are useful.
