Rhiw Farmhouse
Rhiw Farmhouse is up above the village of Rowen, in Snowdonia. It's detached, so it's just you. The view is straight down the Conwy Valley.
It sleeps sixteen, but it's only got four bedrooms. They're very big, with bunk beds and doubles. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's not new, but it's solid and comfortable for a big group.
The kitchen is made for feeding lots of people. It's got three cookers. The dining room is the main feature, really. Big table, open fire. There's a separate lounge with another fire. You can get everyone together or split into different rooms.
You can walk straight out from the house onto the hills. There's a pub down in Rowen you can walk to as well, in about fifteen minutes.
It's a good spot for getting out. You're in the Snowdonia National Park so walking is all around. The Carneddau range is right there. For the coast, Conwy and Llandudno are about a twenty minute drive. Conwy Castle is worth a visit. National Trust Conwy has information on the area.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, on-site parking, and a garden. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
