This place is called River View. It's in Capelulo, which is a small village near Penmaenmawr. The cottage is set back from the road, opposite the river. You can hear the water from the garden, which is quite nice.
It sleeps seven, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
Downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner. We leave you some logs to get you started. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The dining table is in there too. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and some grass. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
There's a local pub about a five minute walk away. The village shop is in Penmaenmawr, about a mile and a half. The beach at Penmaenmawr is shingle and sand, good for a walk. You can drive to Llanfairfechan beach too, it's about three miles.
Conwy is ten minutes by car. The castle and walls are worth seeing. You can walk the walls for free. Llandudno is about fifteen minutes away, if you want the pier and the promenade.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. The Sychnant Pass road starts just up the hill. For walking, you can drive into the national park quickly. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby, like Aberconwy House. For planning walks in the area, the Snowdonia National Park website is useful.
Facilities: we include all bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking for two cars on the drive. No pets, sorry. There's WiFi and a TV.
