It sits on the cusp of the Cotswolds and the Royal Forest of Dean just off Tewkesbury Road in Twigworth. Cosy with touches of luxury throughout, it’s a deceptively spacious lodge ideal for four. It boasts a bubbling hot tub upon the spacious decking with a tranquil lake and its ducks for company.
For those seeking a peaceful and semi-rural getaway, along with the perks of nearby suburbia of Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury then Waterside Cabin is for you. Waterside is a detached wooden lodge with oodles of rustic charm with all the modern luxuries you could want and need on a short or long jaunt to Gloucestershire. As you arrive through the gates, you will instantly be at peace within the tranquil and secluded setting. It boasts a double bedroom adorned with the finest linens and bedding, and has added extras like fluffy towels and a hair dryer included for guests’ convenience. The master bedroom additionally has direct access to the terrace. The second bedroom includes a set of full-size bunk beds, perfect for friends sharing or children. The open plan sitting room and kitchen is the cosy hub of the lodge; although bijou in size, it is equipped with everything you need including a two-ring gas hob and microwave oven. No need to pack the kitchen sink as it’s equipped with all the useful utensils you will need during your stay. A Smart TV and comfy seating offer a lovely spot on those chillier evenings during the year. Outside a large terrace awaits, a tranquil and relaxing space to unwind and dine al fresco by firing up the BBQ, or take a dip in your very own hot tub before pre-dinner aperitifs on the terrace.
There are many reasons to visit Gloucestershire, whether it be to walk or cycle the Cotswold Way; touring the ‘chocolate box’ villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, or the stone honey-coloured houses of Chipping Campden; sporting events in Cheltenham Spa at the famous racecourse; scenic rivers tours from the banks of medieval Tewkesbury; or walking in the footsteps of Harry Potter himself at Gloucester Cathedral. Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester miles are 5 miles away, whilst Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden are both 24 miles away; all can be reached with a 10 to 30-minute drive.
