Bloomfield House is rare rural find within Redmarley D’Abitot. This magnificent holiday home sleeps up to 10 guests within 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms and an open plan kitchen diner, along with a secure wrap-around garden with uninterrupted views of the Malvern Hills. Bloomfield House is a social holiday home, with the wow factor. It’s great for multi-generational gatherings and the perfect base for families looking for an active UK break as there are lots to explore beyond your wonderful abode. On the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen, dining area and a boot room. There are 2 living rooms, the first is a small and cosy snug and the second is the social hub of the house. Magnificent floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in with enviable views of the Malvern Hills. If you are lucky enough to stay on Bonfire Night, the hills light up, glitter and sparkle all evening, it’s rather unique and special. Don’t worry if it’s a chilly evening either, as the underfloor heating and huge wood burner will keep you all toasty and warm inside. Upstairs you will find 5 sumptuous bedrooms, with the finest linens and deepest mattresses for the perfect night’s sleep. No fighting over the bathrooms either with two family bathrooms on hand.
Should you want to get out and explore, just a 10-minute drive is the market town of Ledbury, where you will find an array of independent coffee shops, local produce and handful of traditional pubs. Weston Cider is worth a visit, the kids can play at the adventure park whilst you sample and pick a tipple or two for the fridge. Don’t forget to pack your walking boots as Malvern Spa is just 7 miles up the road with its picturesque walks over the Malvern Hills and many bohemian independent shops. The cathedral city of Gloucester is just a short drive in the other direction, with its Victorian docks and designer retail outlet.
For some thrill-seeking adventures head to the Forest of Dean with its cycle tracks, and high rope Go Ape attraction with the Treetop Challenge and Forest Segways. Canoeing is within 30 minutes with the glorious Symonds Yat on the River Wye. Kayaking and paddle boarding also available at the Forest of Dean. Visit Eastnor Castle with family events include steam days, have a go at archery and circus days. Steam railways close by, and caving and off road driving for the thrill seekers too.
