King Offa Lodge

This large, semi-detached barn conversion is ideal for larger families or friends looking to get away and explore the open countryside of Monmouthshire, the Forest of Dean and Offa’s Dyke. Located next door to the owner on a working farm, it provides comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests. The property has four double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and Freeview TV’s. Lord Nelson’s room on the ground floor has twin beds, King Henry’s room on the first floor has a kingsize bed, Charles Rolls’ room has a double bed and Lady Llangattock’s room has twin beds. King Offa Lodge offers a great living/dining room with a wood burner, ideal for those special family gatherings. The oak flooring has underfloor heating to keep you warm and cosy, run from the owner’s biomass heating and solar panels. The large kitchen, also with a TV, is the perfect place to gather around the table and enjoy a meal together, alternatively enjoy al fresco dining in the enclosed garden with patio area and lawn. By prior arrangement with the owner, private hot tub hire can be arranged with a local company at cost. The local pub is 3 miles from the property and the lovely town of Monmouth is 4 miles, with its abundance of quaint shops, coffee shops and boutiques. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
King Offa Lodge can be booked together with Little Hendre Barn to accommodate up to 12 guests.
