Abergavenny is 4 miles away with its renowned food festival every September, along with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Monmouth with its wide high street and plethora of shops is 21 miles away and is also steeped in history. A visit to Monmouth Castle is a must along with the Monnow Bridge and Gate. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 25 miles and offers spectacular views from Pen Y Fan of the rolling countryside.
