The Annexe is a perfect place for those wanting to explore the area, or simply have a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With the natural environment, fascinating history and heritage, an array of attractions and activities are to be had here. There are an array of activities and days out to be had, such as Symonds Yat rock, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves and Coleford, which has its own Great Western Railway Museum. The cottage provides the perfect location for visitors with pets. The River Severn, Dean Heritage Centre, Dean Forest Railway and Tintern Abbey are all nearby.
There is good fishing, RSPB reserves, riding, golf, tennis and excellent walking and cycling opportunities locally. Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow, Monmouth and the cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford are within easy driving distance.
The annexe consists of first floor accommodation with bathroom, kitchen/diner and a living space which is open plan with a kingsize bed. The living area has patio doors leading to a fabulous balcony that is decked with rattan furniture – the views from the balcony are superb over the rolling hills. After you have spent the day exploring, come back and relax with a glass of fizz on the balcony and watch the sunset as you listen to the sounds of the wildlife.
