This fabulous property is nestled within the Brecon Beacons National Park, near to Llwyn-on reservoir, which lies in 150 acres of land and is one of the biggest of the Taffs reservoirs. Great walks can be had around the reservoir, and for those with an interest in fishing, it is stocked with rainbow trout .
If you are looking to explore the surrounding area, this property is just a few miles from Pen Y Fan and Corn Du, Pen Y Fan being the highest peak in Wales, standing at 873 metres above sea level. There is an abundance of walks to be had in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Four Waterfalls Walk in Ystradfellte is also very popular and only 20 minutes’ drive away. If its cycling you’re interested in, then Bike Park Wales is roughly 6 miles from the property, boasting several trails from beginners to proline.
Fancy a Welsh Whiskey tour then Penderyn Distillery is the perfect place to call and experience award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits in the foothills of the magnificent Brecon Beacons.
For those adrenaline junkies looking for excitement Zip World Tower which hosts the world’s fastest seated zip line boasting stunning panoramic views over the old Tower Colliery Coal mining site in the Rhigos mountain range is just a half an hour drive away.
You can find the Nantddu Lodge pub/restaurant just a 5-minute walk down the drive serving fine ales and lovely local homemade meals. The nearest village is Cefn Coed, which is approximately 2 miles from the property, and there are plenty of convenience stores, restaurants and pubs, and there is also a golf course here.
Merthyr Tydfil is a 10-minute drive from the property and has all the amenities you could need, plenty of shops, restaurants, bars. The historic market town of Brecon is a 25-minute drive away, Cardiff is a 40-minute drive and Swansea is a 50-minute drive.
The property consists of open plan lounge/diner and kitchen, with 75” Smart TV, dining benches, gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer and a ground floor wet room. To the first floor there is one double room, one twin room, two bunkbed rooms for six, one bunk bed room for ten, four shower cubicles and four toilets, garden with seating and lawned area.
