Enjoy the bustling market town of Tewkesbury by day, exquisite waterside walks by noon and theatre shows by night. Take a leisurely meander of the market town, weave in and out of the Tudor buildings and visit farmers markets, antique shops and tea rooms. Pick up a small aperitif and step aboard a river cruise before catching a matinee at the Roses Theatre. If historic splendour is on the agenda, Tewkesbury is home to a 12th-century abbey, adorned with one of the highest Norman towers in the country, and the largest medieval re-enactment festival in Europe in July.

Just a short drive and you will be in the hub of the Cotswolds and a day out to Chipping Campden is a must. You will find streets of honey hued, chocolate box houses, boutique shops, pubs and restaurants, plus several castles nearby too.
