Mickleton is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, with easy access to many beautiful towns and villages. The village boasts two pubs, a convenience store, butcher’s and farm shops, and is an easy walk to Mickleton Antiques Centre.
Chipping Campden is just over 3 miles away, one of the jewels amongst the Cotswold villages, and offers an excellent choice of restaurants and inns which use local produce. Hidcote Gardens, owned by The National Trust, is well worth a visit and just 2 miles away. The Cotswold Way is within easy reach for walkers, ramblers and cyclists. Broadway is just over 6 miles away with pubs, restaurants and Broadway Tower, where you can admire the views stretching far and wide over the countryside.
Stratford-Upon-Avon is only 8 miles, where you can visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare’s birthplace and take a river boat trip along the River Avon. Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Clarkson’s Farm are within easy reach, or visit Cheltenham with it’s racecourse where they hold the famous annual Cheltenham Festival and literary festival. The historic University city of Oxford and pretty Cotswold villages including Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh are all within easy driving distance, and you can use the train line from Honeybourne only 3 miles away.
