This is the perfect place for friends and couples wishing to enjoy village life whether it be for a few days or a week or longer and for visiting the many areas and attractions Warwickshire and Oxfordshire has to offer. in the village you’ll find local facilities including pubs, convenience store, post office, butchers and a Co-op.
There are many country walks from the door including into the nearby village of Little Kineton where you can buy local produce from the nursery and visit the village duck pond. Local days out include visits to Compton Verney, under two miles away where you can discover the art gallery with its many collections and exhibitions and enjoy the park with its labyrinth, bird hide, pond dipping and playground. For more outdoor fun, head to Burton Dassett Hills the perfect country park for walks, flying a kite or eating a picnic whilst admiring the views of rolling hills and open countryside. The National Trusts Upton House and Gardens, Charlecote Park, Farnborough and Hidcote are all within easy reach. The stunning towns and villages of the North Cotswolds can be reached in just over ten minutes where you can explore Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold or Woodstock, home to Blenheim Palace.
Within 20 minutes’ drive are the market towns of Banbury and Royal Leamington Spa which are full of high street and independent shops, pubs, cafés, and restaurants. Also a similar distance is Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its famous castle and Bicester Village, famous for its shopping village.
