You can also visit the 14th-century St. Mary’s Guildhall, with its vaulted crypt, or Coventry Cathedral, which was left in ruins after a WWII bombing, together with the adjacent 20th-century replacement which features abstract stained glass. Warwick Arts Centre, the Belgrade Theatre and Coventry Transport Museum are other places of interest. Great transport links can take you to surrounding areas which are rich in culture and heritage, such as Warwick with its beautiful medieval castle; Kenilworth with amazing Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan garden; the historic town of Leamington Spa, or Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare.
