Located on a working smallholding farm, the owners have animals you may see on your stay - pigs, sheep and hens as well as the resident dog, Bobby.
The Cart Horse Barn is in a prime location off from the main B through road to explore the Cotswold to is fullest. Please expect some traffic noise during peak travel times.
Rescued from a state of disrepair, the owners have transformed The Cart Horse Barn into a fabulous holiday home with contemporary furnishings, keeping some traditional features such as exposed brick work and beams. The kitchen/dining room has a warm feel, the kitchen is well-equipped to rustle up a meal for four with access to the garden. The lounge area features a wood burner and underfloor heating, keeping the barn warm throughout the year, with Chesterfield sofas and a Smart TV. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom featuring a 6ft bed, twin room, and family bathroom with roll-top bath. Outside, there is a small courtyard garden with views over the smallholding and animals, with seating and a barbecue.
The wonderful countryside of the Cotswolds surrounds the water park, and attractions such as Bath, Oxford, Cirencester and Cheltenham are all within easy reach. Visit the Swindon Designer Outlet village with its range of restaurants and designer shops. Ashton Keynes is an attractive Cotswolds village surrounded by idyllic country walks and cycle routes. With all the amenities you need, there are traditional country pubs within walking distance. And just 5 miles away lies the market town of Cirencester, regarded as the heart of the Cotswolds, the perfect place for fine dining and boutique shopping. The Cotswold Water Park is within a few minutes’ drive offering a host of thrill-seeking activities including water skiing, cable skiing, archery, shooting, paintballing, golf, aerial adventure, angling, horse riding, sailing, canoeing and paddle boarding.
