The School House

The School House is a luxurious Victorian cottage which is beautifully appointed with a wealth of character features, flagstone floors, exposed granite around an open fire, which will help you warm up after exploring the dramatic coastal path on a winter break. The best part about a holiday at The School House, however, is the peace and quiet, birds singing, waves crashing in the distance and perhaps the faint rumble of a tractor working the fields, you will find yourself revitalised in no time.
The cottage offers guests the opportunity to relax against a stunning backdrop, whilst being located close to beaches and all the outdoor activities you would expect to enjoy from a holiday in Cornwall. Walk down to the beach at Crackington Haven, explore the coast path, Bude is to the North and Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac to the South, there are a multitude of destinations to enjoy, including coastal walks, magnificent beaches, cosy country pubs or fine dining restaurants.
Bude is 15-minutes away, a popular tourist destination for both its surfing and fantastic family beaches in Widemouth Bay. The watchful eye of the RNLI lifeguards allows for some of the best surfing in the world alongside swimming and a whole host of water-based activities. Bude today is a lovely seaside town, the main shopping streets and inter-connecting alleyways play host to a wide range of locally-owned shops, restaurants and pubs. There are boutiques, shoes, arts and crafts, jewellery, hand-made gifts and souvenirs. Beach 1 mile.
