Penrhiw Cottage is full of charm and character and situated within the village of Kilgetty, complete with two traditional Welsh pubs and a restaurant specialising in local produce, supermarket and near the train station for easy links east to Carmarthen and south to Tenby. After a busy day exploring the local area, sit back and relax on an evening in your private hot tub and take in the stars.
Penrhiw Cottage has been tastefully renovated in 2021 and has retained its original character with beams and exposed stone walls, the living area is perfect for enjoying a movie together or a day time read. The open-plan kitchen/dining room is ideal for cooking that special meal or enjoying more formal dining. Both bedrooms on the first floor have been well furnished and offer a good level of comfort.
Kilgetty is just a 5-minute drive to Saundersfoot and 10 minutes to the famous walled town of Tenby, making this a great central location on the edge of these attractions. Tenby is full of history enjoying cobbled streets, a stunning beach and boat trips to Caldey Island. Colby Woodland Gardens, a National Trust managed woodlands and craft centre, is a must see with a fantastic flora display along with acres of woodlands to explore. Saundersfoot, Coppit Hall and Amroth beaches are a short drive away, whilst 15 minutes by car are many attractions for your family, including Folly Farm Zoo, Oakwood and Heatherton World of Adventure.
