The spacious, cottage-style kitchen/dining room is perfect for whipping up a feast, and gathering together, at the end of a day exploring the grounds and local area. A large beamed living room with multi-fuel stove is perfect for cosying up with a film - don’t forget the popcorn! Upstairs you’ll find the double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with comfy beds and beams, you’ll have no trouble getting a good nights sleep in these calming rooms. A family bathroom with sloping ceiling completes the first floor.
There is a riverside pub with children’s play area within a 5-minute car journey. The setting is perfect for making the most of both coast and countryside – sufficiently inland to avoid sea mists, yet convenient for the sandy coves of Cardigan Bay and the superb scenery of the Preseli Mountains and Pembrokeshire National Park. Teifi Valley and Gwili steam railways, the National Wool Museum at Dre-Fach Felindre and Coracles Health and Country Club all make for a fantastic day out. Cardigan, home to its castle and Wales’ biggest cultural festival, the Eisteddfod, and Carmarthen sport excellent golf courses. Pony-trekking, fly fishing on the River Teifi and the Coracle Centre at Cenarth Falls can all be found within 10 minutes’ drive. And a real taste of Wales is available virtually on the doorstep; the neighbouring farm makes delicious traditional world-famous Caws Cenarth cheese. This tranquil rural location is only 3 miles from delightful Newcastle Emlyn, with its good choice of shops, inns, award-winning restaurants and two delicatessens.
