Set on the owner’s small holding with beautiful views over meadows and towards the commanding Preseli’s hills, this lovely, detached cottage has been completely renovated in 2022 and is the perfect choice for a wonderful holiday exploring Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. Brynteg Cottage was once a derelict barn and has been renovated to a very good standard throughout, overlooking the owner’s meadow with ponies, chickens, and turkeys close by.

Nestled within the quaint rural hamlet of Tegryn, complete with a traditional Welsh village pub, perfect for a glass of wine or ale after a busy day exploring and is close to the village of Crymych and the historic market town of Cardigan where you can find a variety of local grocery shops, boutique shops, theatre and an array of eateries specialising in fresh sea food and home, local produce.

Brynteg Cottage is located adjacent to the owner’s home and offers a bright and airy spacious cottage, all on one level with level ramp access from the car park. Both bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished to offer a good night’s sleep, the large open plan kitchen, dining and living room is perfect for families and friends to socialise whilst cooking that special meal. French doors lead out onto your patio where you can enjoy watching the sunset across the meadow or enjoy dining alfresco.

There is much to explore in the surrounding area. Cardigan Bay and the dramatic north Pembrokeshire coastline, which includes some truly beautiful beaches such as Poppit Sands, Newport Sands and Mwnt, are within a 20-minute drive. A visit to Cenarth Falls really is not to be missed and if timed well you can see the fantastic sight of salmon leaping up the falls. Enjoy a short trip to the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, which runs along the banks of the River Teifi, made famous for coracle fishing. A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby complete with a beach, cobbled streets and a host of eateries and craft shops.
