Come and discover Arosfa, nestled within the quaint rural village of New Moat near the picturesque Preseli Hills with an abundance of fantastic walks including the Golden Road, an historic route said to date back to the Neolithic period 5, 000 years ago. A 15-minute walk from your cottage you can enjoy Llys y Fran country park, here you can enjoy a cooked breakfast in the visitor centre café, mountain biking trails, fishing, water and land activities and adventure playground with 6 miles of woodlands and countryside trails around the reservoir which is teaming with wildlife.
This detached cottage offers a lot of character and charm throughout, and has been fully renovated to a high standard by the owners, complete with wooden beams and a focal Rayburn in the kitchen. The ground floor enjoys a spacious open plan contemporary kitchen/dining area with lots of natural light flooding through, perfect social space and great for formal dining. The living room enjoys a focal wood burner where you can relax with a glass of wine after a busy day sightseeing. On the first floor both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished to provide a great night’s sleep. Enjoy dining al fresco with a BBQ in the large well manicured gardens next to the babbling brook.
The historic former slate mining village of Rosebush is just a few minutes away where you can discover a traditional Welsh pub complete with sawdust on the floor and the old railway platform outside. Newport Sands with its lovely sand dune beach and also within easy reach of the Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire coast. A 15 minutes’ drive south, you will find the charming market town of Narberth with its many antique shops, gourmet dining and delicatessens just waiting to be discovered. Families can head to Hanger 5 Trampoline Park or visit the indoor water park, Blue Lagoon, both a 20-minute drive away. Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park, boasts Wales’s largest wooden rollercoaster and is sure to keep families entertained, whatever the weather. The famous walled town of Tenby makes the perfect day out with its cobbled streets, sandy beaches, and stunning harbour, and should not be missed. Beach 14 miles.
