Solva can be explored on foot from your holiday home and boasts a picture postcard harbour, galleries, restaurants specialising in locally caught sea food, and even a village shop for your essentials. Be sure to bring your camera for some fantastic coastal views out across the St Brides Bay! Just a 10-minute drive away lies the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales. It boasts a 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace that you can explore. There are also many art galleries and gift shops, as well as a good choice of restaurants and traditional pubs specialising in local produce. From here you can take a trip to Ramsey Island and take a sea safari expedition around the offshore island, cruising close to seabirds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin - a fantastic day out.
Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions! Beach 800 yards.
