Bryn Lodge is set on the edge of the quaint hamlet of Hook, adjacent to the owner’s home and a stone’s throw away from the picturesque Cleddau Estuary. Here you can enjoy a number of walks from your doorstep with the Estuary sure to delight with a plethora of bird and wildlife waiting to be discovered. Set between the two towns of Haverfordwest and the medieval town of Pembroke makes this ideal base to explore West Wales and The Pembrokeshire Coast Path too.
Within a 10-minute drive, you can enjoy a relaxing game of golf in Rosemarket, enjoy some locally sourced food and locally brewed ales with gorgeous views across the Cleddau Estuary from the restaurant in Burton Ferry or a little retail therapy in Haverfordwest. The sublime beaches of Broad Haven, Little Haven and Sandy Haven are within a 30-minute drive which are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, fishing or building sandcastles. Bryn Lodge is a delightful detached and all on one level property and offers a fantastic base to see this beautiful area, both bedrooms have been thoughtfully decorated and lovingly furnished to provide the perfect night’s sleep, the open plan living and dining are bright and airy with French doors to let the outside coastal air in, the kitchen looks directly over the rear garden and patio which is the perfect south facing suntrap where you can dine al fresco or sunbath with countryside views.
10 minutes away is the harbour town of Milford Haven and one of the finest natural waterways in Lord Nelson words, within the harbour you can enjoy one of the many coffee and wonderful craft shops or venture into the town to the Torch Theatre and catch a live show or take in a movie at the cinema. Travelling west past the town of Milford Haven, you can discover the picture postcard coves and cliffs of Sandy Haven, Dale and Marloes Sands, arriving at Martin’s Haven. Be sure to take a boat trip to Skomer Island to spot 22, 00- bird species as well as Seals, Puffins and Manx shearwaters.
For a family day out, visit Folly Farm Adventure Park and a zoo with lions, rhinos and giraffes, and for adrenaliine lovers, Oakwood Theme Park is not to be missed. For those rainy days, take a trip to Bounce Below, a large indoor trampoline centre perfect for all ages. Beach 11 miles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ mile.
