Come and discover the delights of Gwynion Llethri Farm Cottages, nestled in the grounds of a Grade II listed working sheep farm with panoramic views of the Cothi Valley. Garreg Llwyd is one of two beautifully traditional Welsh cottages located just outside the quiet village of Talley, and is only 7 miles from the ancient and picture-perfect town of Llandeilo. Garreg Llwyd was once a former cow shed and has been transformed into a spacious homely holiday cottage, retaining all of its charm with beams, exposed stonework and inglenook fireplace. The open plan kitchen/diner is spacious and perfect for cooking that romantic meal followed by curling up with a glass of wine in front of the cosy wood burner after a busy day sightseeing. On an evening sit out and enjoy the sublime views down along the Cothi Valley whilst sheep graze around you, or even pick some apples from the orchard. The property is situated in a beautiful rural area, renowned for walking, cycling, riding, fishing and bird watching. Bask in the tremendous views of the surrounding countryside and marvel at the display the Canadian geese give you when coming to land on the Gwynion Llethris lake. Fishing is available on the River Cothi . For walkers, there are numerous country routes that are accessible directly from the property, whilst the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are just a short drive away. With an impressive list of nearby activities and attractions, Garreg Llwyd is the perfect base for country lovers. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
