This is Sonas, an apartment we have in Torlundy. It’s a small village just outside Fort William. You can see Ben Nevis from the front.
It's a ground floor apartment, detached, so it's just you. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The layout is open plan. You get a patio area out the front with a table and chairs, and a shared garden. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Torlundy is quiet. You can walk down to the River Lochy from here. The cycle path into Fort William starts nearby, it's about three miles on a safe track. Fort William has shops, places to eat, and a train station. The local golf course is a quarter of a mile away.
You're well placed here. Ben Nevis is right there if you're walking or climbing. Glen Nevis is beautiful for easier walks. For skiing or mountain biking, the gondola up Aonach Mor is a few minutes' drive. You can get to Glencoe in about half an hour.
Further out, within an hour or so, you can get to places like Oban, Mallaig, or the start of the road to Skye. The famous Jacobite steam train to Mallaig goes from Fort William station.
