Fort William Chalet
This is the Fort William Chalet. It's a detached single-bedroom place just outside Fort William town. It sleeps two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished.
It's a modern chalet, so everything is on one level except for a couple of steps into the bedroom. The bedroom is separate, which is good for a chalet of this size. You get the garden to yourselves, and there's parking right outside.
You're about a ten minute drive from the centre of Fort William. The Ben Nevis Inn at the foot of the path is good for food and drink. For a pub in town, the Garrison is reliable.
The main reason you're here is for the landscape. You're right at the foot of Ben Nevis. The path up starts a short drive away. The Nevis Range is close for the gondola, mountain biking, or winter skiing.
You can drive to Glenfinnan to see the viaduct, or take the steam train to Mallaig from Fort William. Skye is about an hour and a half away by car if you want a day trip. Loch Ness is just over an hour's drive to the east.
The chalet has WiFi, TV, and all bedding and towels are included. It's all electric. No pets, I'm afraid.
