This is Fernbrae. It's a detached house in Glen Nevis, just outside Fort William. It's not right in the town, it's back along the glen road. You get a good view of the mountains from the garden.
It sleeps six people and has three bedrooms. The main thing is they all have their own bathroom. That's really handy if you've got a few of you staying. There's also a wet room downstairs.
The living area is all one big room, open plan, with the kitchen at the back. There's a wood-burning stove. It gets the sun in the afternoon. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs.
Yes, you can bring dogs. Up to two, I think.
Ben Nevis is basically on your doorstep. You can start the walk from the house. If you're into winter sports, the Nevis Range ski area is about a ten-minute drive up the road.
Fort William itself is a couple of miles away. It's got the usual shops, supermarkets, cafes and pubs. The cinema is there too if the weather turns.
For other days out, you've got Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Jacobite steam train about half an hour west. Spean Bridge and the Commando Memorial are about 15 minutes east. If you drive 45 minutes south you're at Glencoe.
The house has a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for a couple of cars right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
