Stepps Cottage

Stepps Cottage is in Banavie, near Fort William. It's a detached bungalow on a working croft. The view from the front is good, looking over the Caledonian Canal to Ben Nevis and the ski slopes.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level and there's wheelchair access at the front, so it works well for people who can't do stairs.

There's a pub and restaurant about 500 yards away, you can walk to it. The local shop is three quarters of a mile. Fort William is four miles down the road for bigger shops and things like the swimming pool.

You're right in the middle of it for outdoors stuff. Walking, climbing, mountain biking. You can see the West Highland steam train go by in the summer on its way to Mallaig. If you want to go skiing at Nevis Range, it's just up the road.

For days out, Glencoe is about half an hour's drive. Loch Ness is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. The Ardnamurchan Peninsula is a nice trip if you want rugged coastline.

What's here: there's a garden, parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. The bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's storage for bikes.
