Chalet 1 is a detached lodge at Tomacharich, on the south-west edge of Fort William. The view is the main thing. You look right out over the Caledonian Canal to Ben Nevis and the Aonach Mor mountains. You can walk straight out onto the canal path.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
The place is detached so it's quiet. You've got your own patio area with furniture. There's a pub and restaurant about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Corpach, two miles down the road.
You're really well placed here. Fort William town centre is about ten minutes by car. From there, you're at the foot of Ben Nevis for walking, or you can get the steam train to Mallaig. Glencoe is maybe half an hour's drive south.
For a day out, Oban is just over an hour away. If you want to go to Skye, you'd drive up to Mallaig for the ferry, which takes about 45 minutes from here.
