Stob-Ban View is our place, about a mile outside Fort William. It's detached, sits in our garden, but it's all your own space with a private garden and deck out the front.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs on a mezzanine, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The big front wall is glass, so you get the full view of Glen Nevis from the living area and even from up in the bed. The stairs up to the mezzanine are a ship's ladder style, so they're quite steep and narrow.
You're right on the edge of things here. The footpath to the Ben Nevis mountain track is about half a mile away. For mountain biking, the world-class trails at Nevis Range are just up the road. You can hire bikes in town.
Fort William has the shops and places to eat. A local pub is a quarter of a mile down the road. If you drive, Glenfinnan and the viaduct are about half an hour. Mallaig and the beaches at Morar are about 45 minutes.
Facilities: there's parking right by the cottage, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
