This is Fascadail. It's one of the cottages at Inchrie, between Aberfoyle and Loch Ard. The place is for two people, just one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is open plan downstairs. There's a patio area outside with a table and a BBQ. You can park right outside.
You're in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park here. The view from the window is just trees and hills. You can walk straight from the door onto forest paths. Loch Ard is about a ten minute drive, maybe fifteen if you're walking. People swim and paddleboard there.
Aberfoyle village is a walk down the hill, maybe twenty minutes. It's got a co-op, a couple of cafes, a bike hire place, and a few places to eat. The David Marshall Lodge visitor centre is up the road if you want a cafe with a view.
Within half an hour you can get to a few things. The golf course in Aberfoyle is very close. The cruise on Loch Katrine is about twenty minutes drive. That's a nice thing to do. Blair Drummond Safari Park is about twenty five minutes away, good if you've got family visiting. Stirling, for the castle and things, is about forty minutes.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets, sorry.
