This is Bo Nan Taigh Cottage. It’s on the edge of Aberfoyle in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. It’s quiet here, surrounded by trees.
It’s semi-detached but you’ve got your own enclosed garden. There’s a small wildlife pond at the bottom of it. You get a view of the woods.
The cottage is rated 4 Star, so it’s a comfortable standard. It sleeps four, but it’s one bedroom with a double bed. There’s a sofa bed in the living room, which is fine for a couple of kids or an extra guest. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. Everything is on one level.
The front door is wheelchair accessible and there are grab rails in the bathroom. The garden is flat too.
Aberfoyle centre is about a ten minute walk. There’s a couple of shops and a few pubs serving food. You can walk into the forest from the door.
You’re well placed for driving out. Stirling is about half an hour away. You can be in Glasgow or Edinburgh in just over an hour if you wanted a city day. The Trossachs are right here for walking or cycling.
Facilities wise, it’s got what you need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There’s parking right outside and a place to store bikes.
