Forth View is one of a set of cottages at Inchrie, just outside Aberfoyle. It's part of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The view from the front is over fields and trees. You can see Ben Lomond on a clear day.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is ensuite, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not a show home, it's a holiday cottage. Everything works.
You can walk straight from the door into the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. The paths are good. Loch Ard is about ten minutes away by car if you fancy a swim or a paddle. Aberfoyle village is a short walk. It's got a Co-op for basics, a couple of places to eat, and the Scottish Wool Centre. The local pub is about a mile away.
Stirling is under an hour's drive. The castle is worth a trip. For a day out, Blair Drummond Safari Park is about forty minutes away, good if you've got kids. Loch Katrine is nearby, you can take a trip on the steamship there. If you like whisky, Deanston Distillery is about half an hour away towards Doune.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio with a BBQ and garden furniture. On-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
