Trunkie Cottage
Trunkie Cottage is in Brig o'Turk, which is in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It's a detached cottage. You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, so good if you have a dog.
The cottage sleeps two. One bedroom with an ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a spiral staircase, so they're open-tread and fairly steep.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. The village tea room is just up the road, they're famous from being in a film. For a bigger shop, you need to drive about five miles to Callander.
You're right in the middle of the National Park here. The forest walks start from the door. Loch Katrine is close by, you can go for a cruise on the steamship there. For a day out, Stirling is about forty minutes' drive. They've got the castle and more shops.
Facilities wise: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
