Dream Cottage
This is Dream Cottage. It's in Kilmahog, near Callander, inside the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It's a detached house, so no one next door. You can see Loch Lubnaig from the garden. The views are good, especially from the summerhouse.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. The main living area is open plan, with doors out to the deck.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. We allow one pet. There's a summerhouse with a big window facing the loch. Kids seem to like it. There's decking with furniture too.
For basics, the nearest pub is about a mile away. Strathyre village is two miles. It has a shop, a coffee place, and a play park. Callander is a short drive. It's got plenty of cafes, pubs, and a few shops.
You're right in the National Park, so walking and cycling are on the doorstep. The cycle route 7 goes through here. For history, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are about 45 minutes by car. Doune Castle is closer. Loch Lomond itself is also around 45 minutes drive.
In the house, you've got the usual: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
