Teithbank
Teithbank is in Callander, on a quiet lane just off the main street. It's a refurbished terrace cottage. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a good standard. Everything is clean and new.
The main thing is the garden. It's a good size and looks right over the River Teith. You can sit out there and watch the water. The stairs inside are a standard cottage size, not too steep.
You're about a minute's walk from the main street. Callander has the basics covered: supermarkets, cafes, a few pubs, and places to eat. It's a handy spot. You're right in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, so you're surrounded by hills.
For getting out, you can walk up Ben Ledi from town if you're up for it. Loch Katrine is about a 15-minute drive. You can get a cruise on the steamship there. Stirling Castle is roughly 20 minutes south by car. Doune Castle is even closer. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both under an hour away if you want a city day.
Facilities: it has parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
