Ben Ledi View
Ben Ledi View is a second-floor apartment in Callander. It's in a quiet spot, and you look out over the River Teith towards Ben Ledi. It's two bedrooms, sleeps four, one bathroom. We had it refurbished a few years back, so it's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You share the big lawned garden at the front with the other flat. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
Callander town centre is a few minutes' walk. There's a couple of supermarkets, pubs, cafes, and the usual tourist shops. The chip shop is decent. There's a good bakery on the main street.
From the door, you can walk along the river or into the woods straight away. For a proper hill, Ben Ledi itself is right there. If you're not a walker, you can drive up to the Bracklinn Falls car park and have a gentler stroll to the bridge.
Loch Katrine is about twenty minutes by car. You can go on the steamboat there. The Trossachs are all around you, really. If you want to go on a guided hillwalk, I'm a qualified leader and can sort that out for an extra cost. Just ask.
Stirling is maybe twenty-five minutes' drive. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both just over an hour.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Wifi, TV, a dishwasher, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
