Bethany Cottage

Bethany Cottage is in Brig o'Turk, right in the Trossachs. It's a detached house, so there's no one attached. You get the place to yourselves.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not a luxury hotel.

The garden is there if you want it. You can sit out. There's an open fire for cooler nights. We've left wood for the first one. The stairs are normal, nothing unusual.

There's a local tea room about a hundred yards away. The pub is about five minutes' walk. It's a proper local. The village shop is in the post office, which is also where you can get fishing licences for the loch and the river if that's your thing.

You can walk straight out the door onto the paths. Glen Finglas is right there. You can see Ben Ledi from the garden. Ben Venue and Ben A'an are a short drive for a proper hill walk.

Callander is a five minute drive for supermarkets and more places to eat. Stirling is about half an hour if you need a bigger town or want to see the castle. Loch Katrine is ten minutes away, you can get boat trips there. The Glengoyne whisky distillery is about twenty minutes drive.

For things like maps and planning, the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park site is useful. Also National Trust Scotland for other places in the area.

What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's an electric vehicle charger.
