Gartclach is a house on a farm near the village of Dalmary, in Stirlingshire. It's modern, detached, and sleeps up to ten people in four bedrooms and a games room with a sofa bed. It has a 4 Star rating, which reflects the standard.
The house is one of three in a row, each with its own enclosed garden. You get a hot tub and a barbecue. The view from the garden is over fields, and red deer sometimes come through.
Inside, it's set up for a group. There are three bathrooms, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The location is good for getting out. You're on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There's a café and shop you can walk to. Gartmore village is two miles away and has a community pub. For bigger shops, the villages of Buchlyvie, Aberfoyle, Balfron, Drymen and Killearn are between ten and twenty minutes' drive.
You're about 20 minutes from Loch Lomond itself. Loch Katrine, Blair Drummond Safari Park, and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park are also within half an hour. Glasgow is 22 miles south, Stirling is 17 miles east.
