Capelrig
Capelrig is a one-bedroom cottage. It sleeps two. It's attached to our house but you have your own entrance round the back. It’s quiet here. The lane is a dead end.
It’s a 4 Star rating. It’s clean and comfortable. The kitchen has what you need. There’s a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings.
The view from the windows is just fields and then the hills. The Campsies and the Fintry Hills. The garden is private and enclosed, and it's yours to use.
You’re right on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Loch Lomond is about a fifteen-minute drive. You can see Ben Lomond from there. All the water stuff is there: sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding.
The village of Balfron has a small Co-op, a pharmacy, a couple of cafes. There’s a petrol station with an electric charger too.
In about half an hour you can be in Stirling for the castle and the history. Glasgow is under an hour for museums and shops. Edinburgh is about ninety minutes, maybe a bit more with traffic.
There’s a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
