With stunning sea views this holiday home is just 20 yards from the beach and perfect for a traditional seaside holiday. Sea View House provides contemporary accommodation over three floors and boasts a large, enclosed, lawned garden and off road parking. Hornsea is a classic seaside resort with an extensive sand and shingle beach; once well known for its pottery production it is now home to Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake, Hornsea Mere, which attracts over 250 species of birds and plenty of opportunities for fishing and sailing. Rainy days are not a problem with a large, indoor heated swimming pool at Hornsea’s main leisure centre and an exciting indoor soft play area located at the Freeport outlet shopping centre. The promenade offers cafés and fish and chip shops and the town itself has a very good choice of restaurants and bars. Step back in time at Hornsea Museum and explore the 300 year old farmhouse and the Victorian schoolroom. Further afield you will find The Deep, a huge aquarium in Hull 18 miles away, Burton Constable Hall and grounds, 16 miles and the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds which inspired the famous Hockney paintings, and a popular area for walking and cycling.
