The largest natural lake in Yorkshire, Hornsea Mere, is nearby and offers sailing, fishing and birdwatching. A visit to this area would not be complete without a visit to the RSPB reserve at Bempton and Flamborough Head. The unspoilt Yorkshire Wolds are on your doorstep, eager to be discovered and the stately home of Burton Constable offers a full calendar of events throughout the summer season.
