Forest Cottage is in Thorn, between Presteigne and Knighton. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one floor, which some people like. You're up in the Radnor Forest. That means it's quiet and the views are good. There's a big lawned garden that's fully enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a double, a twin, and a room with bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower cubicle. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is secure for them. There's parking right there for a couple of cars. It has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Presteigne is about three miles away. It's a nice little town. The Judge's Lodging museum is worth a look if you like history. Knighton is a similar distance the other way. The Offa's Dyke Path runs right through it if you're walking.
You're right in the middle of the Radnor Forest for walking and cycling. The Water-Break-Its-Neck waterfall is about a 20 minute drive away. There's a good walk to it.
For a proper day out, Ludlow is about half an hour's drive east. Good for food and markets. The Elan Valley reservoirs are about 40 minutes west, which is spectacular for a drive and a walk.
