The Cider Barn Combe

The Cider Barn is a one bedroom place that sleeps two people. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It's a converted barn on our smallholding. We've got some sheep, like Herdwicks and Balwens. You can see them from the garden.

The bedroom's up in the eaves. The beams are low, so watch your head if you're tall. There's a wood burner downstairs. We leave you a basket of logs to get started.

You've got your own little garden bit with a table and a BBQ. You're welcome to walk down to the river in the shared grounds.

The location is quiet, but it's a working farm area. The road can get busy with tractors, especially around harvest time.

The nearest town is Presteigne. It's about two miles away. It's got pubs, cafes, and a few shops. There's a shop there too. Kington is a bit further and has a good walking festival in September.

For a day out, you're about 40 minutes drive from Ludlow or Hereford. There are a few National Trust places within a half hour drive, like Berrington Hall and Croft Castle.

Facilities are included: WiFi, TV, washing machine, towels and bedding. There's parking right outside.
