Seren is in Powys, near the English border. It's a glamping cabin, so it's more basic than a cottage. It sleeps five, but it's all in one open-plan room. There's one bathroom.
It's in a woodland clearing. The idea is it's quiet and you're on your own. You'll hear the stream and the birds. It's not completely isolated, there are a couple of other cabins nearby but they're spaced out.
The kitchen is shared with the other cabins. It's a covered outdoor area called the Woodland Kitchen. It has the basics: a hob, a sink, storage. Tea, coffee, and some cooking bits are there for you to use. You'll need to walk over to it from your cabin.
The cabin itself has a wood burning stove for heat. There's a shower and a toilet. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right by it.
It's good for walking straight from the door. There's woodland and a waterfall on the land. If you want to drive, the Brecon Beacons are close. Hay-on-Wye is about half an hour away for bookshops. Ludlow is about the same distance for food. The Shropshire Hills and the Wye Valley are also within a 30 minute drive.
The owners run courses sometimes, like green woodworking. You'd need to ask about that separately if you're interested.
No pets allowed.
