Herrock View is a cottage in Lower Harpton. It's detached, so you're on your own. The views are good, over fields and the countryside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star grading. The place is modern inside, but it's still a cottage. There's a staircase that's open-plan and a bit steep, like a lot of these places.
The garden's large and fenced off. There's a hot tub out there. You can see the hills from it.
It's quiet here. The nearest pub and restaurant are about two miles away. There's a shop four miles from the cottage.
Hay-on-Wye is within a half hour drive. It's good for books and the festival. Kington's closer, and Hereford is a bit further. Offa's Dyke is nearby if you're walking. The Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells is also about half an hour away.
The facilities are all listed. It has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a woodburner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair.
