Mavis Cottage
Mavis Cottage is in Bredward, Herefordshire. It's a detached cottage, so no one's attached to you. You get your own enclosed garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity.
The location is quiet. You're about a mile and a half from Kington, which has shops and pubs. The views from here look out over the Welsh border. There's about 30 acres of land you can walk on, with a couple of ponds.
If you like walking, you're right by it. You can get straight onto Offa's Dyke Path at Hergest Ridge. For a day out, Hay-on-Wye is about 15 miles away, which is handy for the bookshops and the festival. Leominster is the same distance. Hereford is about 20 miles, and Ludlow is too. The coast at Aberystwyth is a good hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
