Kinverley is a bungalow just outside Walton in Powys. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. The owner lives next door if you need anything.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The doorways are wide and there are no steps to get in, which is good if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair.
You get the whole garden to yourselves. It's fully enclosed, which is handy if you have dogs or kids. There's a summerhouse with chairs, and a barbecue. It looks out over fields, so it's quiet. You'll see rabbits and birds.
The town of Kington is about four miles away. It's got a few shops, cafes, and pubs. There's a golf course there too. Hay-on-Wye is about sixteen miles. That's the book town with the festival in May. The Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd is roughly the same distance the other way.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Radnorshire hills. Offa's Dyke Path is very close. You can pick it up from Knighton. The National Trust page for Offa's Dyke has maps. The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour's drive south.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's parking right outside.
