The Lodge
The Lodge is a detached lodge on our smallholding near Presteigne. It's a quiet spot but you can walk into the town in about ten minutes. There are horses and sheep in the fields around you.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
You get your own enclosed garden with a decked area. We often see birds and other wildlife from there. The views over the fields are good.
Presteigne is a small market town right on the border. It's an interesting old place. The Judge's Lodging is worth a visit. You can pick up the Offa's Dyke Path from here for walking.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got lots of options. Stokesay Castle is a good one. Ludlow has the racecourse and the town itself. Hereford has the cathedral and the cider museum. Acton Scott is the working farm.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
