The Lodge
The Lodge is near Presteigne, in Powys. It's detached, so it's just you. It's on our smallholding, so you'll see horses and sheep in the fields around. The view from the deck is over open countryside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level, which people seem to like.
You've got a private, enclosed garden with a deck. It's a good spot for a morning coffee. You'll see plenty of birds.
You can walk into Presteigne in about five minutes. There are a couple of shops and a few pubs that do food. The town is interesting, it's an old Welsh border town. The Judge's Lodging museum is worth a look.
For walks, you're right on the doorstep of the Offa's Dyke Path. Within half an hour's drive you can get to Ludlow, which has a castle and a market. Hereford Cathedral is about the same distance. Acton Scott Working Farm is nearby if you've got kids, or if you're just interested in that sort of thing.
What's here: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
