Eilian is a glamping cabin near a place called Norton, in Powys. It's Mid Wales, so it's properly rural. You're in the middle of woods and fields.
It sleeps five, which is a lot for a glamping spot, but it's all in one room. It's a single open space with beds for five and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which here means it's well-equipped and comfortable for what it is.
The cabin is on a big private site with only a couple of other places, so you're not crowded. You get your own patio and garden bit. There's a wood burner for heat and a BBQ outside.
The kitchen is shared. It's a separate building called the Woodland Kitchen that you'd use with the other guests. It has all the basics, and they leave tea, coffee, spices and things for everyone.
The site runs courses sometimes, like green woodworking or birdwatching. You'd need to ask about those separately if you're interested.
For getting out, you're about half an hour from Hay-on-Wye, for the bookshops, and about the same from Ludlow if you want food and a castle. The Shropshire Hills and the Brecon Beacons National Park are close for walking. The Wye Valley is also within reach.
On the practical side: bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. There's electricity. The shower is in your cabin. It's glamping, so it's comfortable but the feel is still quite simple and outdoorsy.
If you want to be with more people, you can book this cabin with the other two on site, Seren and Treetop Cabin.
