Hoarstone Cottage
Hoarstone Cottage is on a farm track near us, off a lane between Presteigne and Leominster. It's detached, so no one's right on top of you. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which just means it's well-equipped and comfortable. We've put in things like a dishwasher and a wood burner. There's a washing machine and an electric car charger too. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The track is quiet, it doesn't go anywhere else. You'll hear birds and sheep, not traffic. You're welcome to walk around the farm fields. For a proper walk, the Offa's Dyke Path isn't far. There's fishing and horse riding nearby if you arrange it.
Presteigne is about three miles. It's a small town with a couple of pubs, a cafe, and a co-op. The Judge's Lodging museum is there if you're interested. Leominster and Ludlow are about a twenty minute drive. They've got more shops and markets. Hereford is maybe half an hour.
